FAQ and GENERAL INFO

HOW LONG SHOULD MY SESSION BE?

A one-hour session is good for most professionals who need one finished image for a program, business card, speaking engagement, etc. If you're an actor, need hair/makeup, or if you need a shoot that is a little more in-depth, you may need to buy a longer session. If you're not sure, ask. 

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

All sessions include unlimited wardrobe changes.

Solid, muted colors are usually best, but if you really want to wear that loud Hawaiian shirt because you look so awesome in it; bring it on! Avoid logos if possible. 

 

WHAT ABOUT MAKEUP?

It is not necessary, but I do recommend it for a cleaner look (men and women). If you are doing your own makeup, don’t apply more than you usually wear just for the photo shoot, unless of course, that’s the look you’re going for. I am a skilled retouch artist, and I can easily fix those little (or big) blemishes here and there that always crop up at the wrong moment. A quick retouch will usually look better than extra makeup. Consider looking like you always look.

If you choose to have your hair/makeup professionally done, you may hire your own artist or you can hire one through me. Because of the time needed for hair/makeup, It's usually not available on shoots shorter than two hours. 

HOW MANY PICTURES DO I GET?

You get to keep all of the useable pictures from the session. For a typical one-hour session, I will deliver about 200 usable shots. I deliver them via DropBox, usually the same day. 

HOW MANY RETOUCHED IMAGES DO I GET?

Every session comes with one or two retouches. If you need more, let me know. Extra retouches are usually $30 each, but I give discounts if you order more. 

DO MY IMAGES NEED TO RETOUCHED?

Not necessarily. Most of what you see on this site and my Instagram page are straight out of the camera! I also keep your images on file for several years. You can always order more retouches at a later date, if needed. 

HOW LONG WILL THE RETOUCH TAKE?

Usually a retouch will take less than 24 hours from the time you make your choice. Rush options are often assailable. 

 

GENERAL:

I require a $75 deposit to book your session. Your Deposit can be made here using a major credit card, via PayPal. If you'd rather leave your deposit directly from your own app, my PayPal address is jeffsbizz@att.net. I'm sorry, but I do not accept checks. Should you need to cancel your appointment, your deposit is fully refundable as long as you give me at least 24 hours notice of the cancelation.

 

Payment balance is due at the end of the session, and payable by major credit card, PayPal or cash. Sorry, but I do not accept personal checks.

 

Please arrive on time.  I would hate for us to have to rush through your session.  I understand that emergencies sometimes happen. Should an emergency arise on the day of our appointment, I will be as flexible as my schedule allows.
